DO, RE, MI... The Sound of Music in Our
Classrooms
Music can be highly memorable and motivating and it can
open pathways to the learning of a second language. As well
as being an important part of students’ lives, it can improve
cognition and creativity.
In this hands-on workshop, we would like to share with the
audience a set of music-related tasks that have proved
effective in classroom practice in fostering language
acquisition through the blend of challenge, fun and the
resulting enjoyment.
