Investing in the Community Geographic Policing is the way law enforcement services are provided in Arlington. One of the underlying goals is for officers to get to know their residents and build healthy relationships with the community. In November, Sgt. Robert Robertson and Officer Jeremy Lee were riding through an apartment complex when they noticed a child needed some help with a bicycle tire. Within a few minutes, a new tube was installed to get the child back on his bike. A citizen snapped a photo of this simple act of kindness that reinforces our commitment to geographic policing.
