he Arlington Clergy and
Police Partnership (ACAPP)
program supports the
department and community
by providing ministry services
and assistance during times
of crisis. Area church pastors
and other faith-based leaders
serve as a guiding force within
the community and police
department.
Crime Prevention Officer
Kimberly Fretwell serves as
the police liaison between the
department and ACAPP. This
coalition of clergy from all faiths
and backgrounds routinely pray
for officers, build relationships
with department members, and
are available to respond to various
situations within the community.
There are 43 active clergy
members in the program. Each
member has been trained
extensively in a 12-week program
hosted by the department.
