Networking Fundraiser for the AAMD Alliance
Thank you to everyone who participated in the recent Business to Business
Exchange. The B2B event is one of the
largest fundraisers offered through the
AAMD Alliance. This year’s event was
held in August at the Wellshire Event
Center in Denver.
Many owners dedicated their valuable
time to make this a successful afternoon
event. Additionally, numerous supplier
members enjoyed the convenience of networking and presenting their products and
services in a “speed dating” format.
This year, we raised approximately
$42,000. These funds are funneled to support candidates who support our industry.
Because of your participation and support,
the AAMD Alliance has taken huge strides
over the past years to increase political involvement in an attempt to create a business
friendly environment at the State Capitol.

The AAMD Alliance has increased
advocacy measures, implemented additional funding streams, and increased our
relationship building through additional
one-on-one meetings with elected officials.
Most recently, our extended efforts have
helped to defeat or amend rent control
measures, inspection fees, carbon monoxide
detector regulations, tax increases, landlord
tenant law, impact fees and other adverse
legislation that could affect our industry.
