n creating the new LEAP (Leaders Engaged in Action and Performance)
program, AAMD has committed itself to further developing our leaders in the
industry and in our association.
LEAP officially kicked off in July 2016, but at the Leadership Planning Retreat,
participants learned about teamwork and time management through guest
speakers and the Marshmallow Challenge, in which each team had 18 minutes to
work together at a team to build the tallest tower out of tape and spaghetti, and
place a marshmallow on top.
