Lost in Translation
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2014 | 9:00AM – NOON
Most employers think that the language barrier is the most
difficult challenge when working with Spanish speakers. They
are wrong! The language barrier is concrete, obvious and
straightforward. It gets surmounted one way or another, but
employers and managers remain frustrated, as Spanish speakers do not always respond as desired to translated directives
and messages.
It is hard to maintain your calm and not take it personally when
your customer is being difficult or rude, yet that is what is necessary in business. This class will show you ways to communicate
more effectively with the unhappy customer and find a positive
solution.
