JOB I HAD BEFORE ENTERING THE APARTMENT INDUSTRY: I was an Office Manager at
a jewelry store in Montana. FAVORITE “NEW” RESTAURANT: Carmine’s Pizza
and Pasta off Lincoln and I-25. You need to check it out and help
support a local small business. DREAM TICKETS: Woodstock (if it was
still around) or the Oscars. OFFICE SOUNDTRACK: ”Hall of Fame” featuring
Will.i.am. AMENITY YOU’D LIKE TO INVENT: For every apartment home to
have an all-inclusive entertainment operating system that includes
Wi-Fi, the ability to wirelessly stream movies and television and a
home control feature that includes; turning on/off lights, appliances,
thermostat settings, and security. “GO-TO” INTERVIEW QUESTION? “How do
you stay organized?” I feel you can tell a lot about a person based
on whether or not they are organized. Even though organization
styles vary, everyone needs to have a system in place in order to
be successful at any task or challenge. ATTRIBUTES YOU LOOK FOR IN NEW
EMPLOYEE? Dedication, determination, motivation and attitude. BEST
DECISION LAST SIX MONTHS? Choosing to go work for ConAm Colorado, Inc.
WORST DECISION LAST SIX MONTHS? Referring someone who I thought was
qualified for a position only to find out later that they were not.
HOW DO YOU KEEP WORK FUN FOR YOUR TEAM? I think it is important to find ways
to keep my team motivated by giving a simple “good job” or
“thank-you” and by occasionally surprising them with a Starbucks
drink or implementing healthy competition such as a leasing contest.
PROFESSIONAL PET PEEVE? Not being fully committed to whatever career
or job you currently hold.
JOB I HAD BEFORE ENTERING THE APARTMENT INDUSTRY: I served as a Ramp Agent
for Eastern Airlines parking planes and loading baggage. FAVORITE
“NEW” RESTAURANT: Visit Ignite at 21st and Larimer and be sure to get
the Man Candy. DREAM TICKETS: I would like to see Jack White perform
at a gas station on Colfax. OFFICE SOUNDTRACK: “Appreciate” by Paul
McCartney AMENITY YOU’D LIKE TO INVENT: No restrictions…OK…Let’s start
building Velodromes in our bike focused communities. “GO-TO”
INTERVIEW QUESTION? Tell me about a time you experienced absolute
happiness… ATTRIBUTES YOU LOOK FOR IN NEW EMPLOYEE? Customer service in
their DNA and a positive attitude. BEST DECISION LAST SIX MONTHS? Going
for a bike ride… WORST DECISION LAST SIX MONTHS? Trying to ride my bike
up a log… HOW DO YOU KEEP WORK FUN FOR YOUR TEAM? Showing sincere
appreciation for all. PROFESSIONAL PET PEEVE? Discourteous people…
Who’s WHO
JOB I HAD BEFORE ENTERING THE APARTMENT INDUSTRY: College and bartender at the
Marriot. FAVORITE “NEW” RESTAURANT: Peoria and Illiff, BeBe’s Sushi,

METRO DENVER RENT BE OVER $1200, $1300? It’s right around the corner. Our
rehabs and new construction are already there. ATTRIBUTES YOU LOOK FOR
IN NEW EMPLOYEE? Positive attitude, good heart and honesty. You can
train people how to do the job but you can’t train someone to have
a different personality. “GO-TO” INTERVIEW QUESTION? If I were to interview
