Senator Cory Gardner meets with Industry Leaders
U
nited States Senator from Colorado, Cory Gardner met with members
of the Colorado Apartment Association.
Our members stressed the importance of the multifamily industry and its impact on our national economy. In order to build
enough supply to meet the market’s demand our industry requires adequate
personnel, financing, and tenants to fill the apartments. Topics discussed with
Senator Gardner ranged from ensuring 1031 exchanges remain in place to
immigration reform.
U.S. Senator Gardner reiterated his support for the industry and provided
insight on upcoming issues on the federal level.
With more than 100 million dollars spent in the last election to unseat
then U.S. Senator Mark Udall, U.S. Senator Gardner expressed thanks to all
who helped him. In order to support Senator Gardner, we presented a campaign
contribution from CAA members in addition to the contribution from the
National Apartment Association Political Action Committee.
