Colorado Free University Program
The IROC leadership team developed a new Real Estate Investing Series to
bring in new landlords and ensure they’re properly trained. In partnership
with Colorado Free University, the series is offered twice a year. The series
consisted of the following modules:
» » Getting Started in Rental Property Management
» » Raising Capital for Your Real Estate Investment
» » The Nuts and Bolts of Managing Your Rental
» » Legal and Ethical Issues for Landlords
In addition to training new landlords, this program was built to bring in new
Owners to the association. The IROC leadership team was able to bring in
seven new members through this education program.

Apartment Week 2017
AAMD ran a media campaign this past
spring, including commercials airing on
TV and social media outlets.
The new spots were designed to give a
fresh, light, and energetic feel to attract
a younger class of new talent,
emphasizing that they likely already
possess the skills necessary to work in
the apartment industry.
Additionally, Teo Nicolais, Chris Beno
(ConAm Colorado) and Allison Moledo
(Cardinal Group Management) appeared
on 9News' Colorado and Company on
April 4, giving AAMD the opportunity to
show the new media campaign and talk
about careers in the industry.
Over 40,000 people tuned in and traffic
to www.proapartments.com increased
signicantly while the spot aired.
