EDUCATION What are you doing to celebrate your Credential Holders? E arning your National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP), Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT), Certified Apartment Supplier (CAS), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) is a huge accomplishment and should be celebrated throughout the industry. All five of these credentials take hours of classwork and candidates must pass a national exam with 70 percent or higher. More than 80 students sign up and dedicate months to earning their national Credential every year through AAMD. On November 2, 2017, Brad Lichtenheld and Clay Lant of Wad- sworth Parkway Apartments closed the leasing office and took the entire What can you do to celebrate your Credential holders? All designees are mailed a completion packet once they have met and successfully completed all of the requirements. The packet includes a lapel pin, a uniform badge (CAMT) and a certificate of completion. One way to acknowledge and celebrate new and seasoned Credential holders is to encourage them to wear their lapel pins to AAMD events. Whether it’s the TradeShow, Maintenance Olympics or a monthly PowerLunch, it is important to celebrate our designees throughout the year. The national Credential program has been developed for professionals staff to lunch to celebrate Missy Markovich. Missy attended the NALP in the Multifamily industry to invest in themselves and their career. It is for her NALP Credential on August 25. Clay presented Missy with new accomplishments. Thank you designees for your hard work and continued spring offering in 2017 and successfully completed all of the requirements important that as an industry, we are recognizing and celebrating these business cards, her lapel pin and her NALP certificate framed and ready to commitment to this industry!
