Greystar has developed 325 market rate apartments on four acres . 37 acres are undertaken by Continuum Partners with the plan to develop 258,000 sq ft of retail space , 44 town homes , 850 + multifamily units , 100 affordable units and 112,000 sq ft of office space . Building a hotel is also being considered .
Broadway and I-25 ( former Gates Rubber Site )
Huggins explained that two potential projects are planned for this site : RTD ’ s intention is to redevelop the property around Broadway Station and Broadway Station Partners is planning to build 2,600 residential rental units , 900,000 sq ft office space , 109,000 sq ft retail space , parks and open space . Huggins mentioned that this particular site is very challenging with Broadway on the east , Santa Fe on the west , I-25 on the north and the light rail right through it .
River Mile / Mile High Station
According to Huggins , the Stadium District is looking for a new way to bring in revenue for the stadium and is contemplating redeveloping the parking lot at the south side of the stadium . The city has put together a neighborhood plan that would allow the stadium district , under a long-term lease structure , to lease the lots for private development to : 1,600,000 sq ft residential area , 900,000 sq ft office space , 250,000 sq ft commercial / retail space , 400,000 hospitality area and 75,000 entertainment area . This would ultimately extend downtown across I-25 .

Teo Nicolais interviewed Tom Barta , COO at Griffis Residential , and Bryan Stern , Principal at Echelon Property Group about ongoing industry trends . The panel discussed how their focus on a dynamic talent pool is directed more than ever on employee engagement with personalized onboarding , mentorship programs and extensive training . The companies are also getting more involved into corporate social responsibility programs to be more attractive , especially to millennials . They reflected on the changes technology had undergone in the last five years and how they are now utilizing technology for the vast majority of leases , renewals and payments to free up time for more value-added activities for their employees .
