AAMD Hosts Denver City Council Reception

he newly elected Denver
City Council met with leaders of the multifamily housing industry for a reception
hosted by the Apartment Association
of Metro Denver. The gathering took
place at RedPeak’s Seasons of Cherry
Creek to meet incoming newly elected
city council members as well as current
council members. City councilors in
attendance included Mary Beth Susman, Stacie Gilmore, Paul Kashman,
Kendra Black, Kevin Flynn, Debbie
Ortega, Jolon Clark, Chris Herndon,
and Paul Lopez.
Mike Zoellner, of RedPeak in Denver, provided an update of the multifamily housing market and emphasized
to the Denver City Council the essential role of the apartment industry
when it comes to affordable housing.
