We are in the middle if difficult times, times that are doing more to pull us apart than unify and unite. We need hope in our youth, hope in the health of our environment, hope that fills us so that we can do and be our best. President Barack Obama said, “The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.”

Are you ready to serve our community towards a more powerful, more supportive, more sustaining future? Some of the most powerful individuals and teams within our association are individuals who see their piece as part of a larger whole, an effort that indeed helps the people close by, but more importantly helps other influencers to make similar efforts towards a common good, a betterment, a strategic future where we all are filled with hope and can thrive.

Maybe you have not thought that you are able, that you don’t have the time, but rest assured most of the current and past BOD members, conference hosts, committee chairs were also in similar shoes. We all carved out time to serve, to move the AORE from the current area of work into a better environment where our efforts would be shared in a grander more successful future. Come bring your outside perspective and skills, come with your vision of long term diverse benefits for a greater community, come serve our vibrant AORE with your desire to strategically move towards sustainable growth and many good things will happen.
