Sean Morrissey

Twin Cities Market Manager of Outdoor Programs & Outreach at REI

Sean has taken a new position with REI based in the Twin Cities. He was formerly with the University of Minnesota, where he served as the Program Manager for the Center for Outdoor Adventure for the last 17 years. During this time, Sean also earned a Masters in Education and PhD in Outdoor Recreation from the University of Minnesota and hosted two annual AORE conferences.

Sean is very excited to start a new adventure as the Twin Cities Market Manager with REI, and he looks forward to a long career with REI.

Katie Hecker

Shenandoah Outdoor and Adventure Recreation SOAR and Greenworks Coordinator, Instructor of Outdoor Leadership and Education OLED at Shenandoah University

Katie has taken a new position with the Office of Student Engagement team at Shenandoah University. She was previously finishing her graduate degree and working as a GA with Western Kentucky University.

Katie is thrilled to instruct courses for the Outdoor Leadership and Education minor, grow the sustainability initiatives on campus through the Greenworks program, all while leading the outdoor program.
