The AORE 2017 Annual Conference was held at Hotel Roanoke, centrally located, and within close proximity of Taubman Museum of Art and City Market Building. Rue Mapp, Founder of Outdoor Afro, served as the keynote speaker to kick off the conference. AORE 2017 had over 680 participants and more than 90 educational sessions between November 1-3rd. Featured events included the annual Super Social and Auction held at the Taubman Museum of Art and the Annual Awards Banquet held in the Hotel Roanoke ballrooms.
