Artist, you know.

Anzzia: Okay. Okay, that's awesome! With the release of your album are you planning on doing a release event? Or, anything of that nature?

Cha Cha: I want to do, yeah, I do want to do an album release party. I don't know where, or when or how. But, I think that can be fun, to do an album release party. I do know a lot of venues and places and people. I mean I might just do it at somebody's house. /laughs

Anzzia: you've mentioned that you have some theater acting under your belt. You have some on-screen work as well. How long have you been an actress in total?

Cha Cha: I would say the past ten years I have been acting because I took acting classes in college. I used to be a theater minor, when I went to GW when I was a theater minor and when I transferred to Boston College, they didn't have theater as a minor. But, when I transferred and went to Boston College is when I started doing background work. Because a lot of films started filming in Boston. So, I would do Indie films and I would do background work. In Boston is where I became SAG eligible. It was after I did a feature in The Social Network movie.

Anzzia: Oh, you were in that?

Cha Cha: Yeah but, just as a college student. I don't have lines or anything.

Anzzia: Oh, that's awesome!

Cha Cha: But, that's the movie that made me eligible to join the union. So, yeah, that was like, 2009. I have a lot of experience doing background work. I did some background work here when I moved here. Did some Indie feature films here.

Anzzia: Do you remember some of the producers and directors that you met in passing?

Cha Cha: I would say, when you're doing background work, you're going to meet the

second, second, second assistant director. You're not going to meet the big time director. But, I would say on the indie level, yeah. I worked with Anthony Green and Cheryl Brown, this feature film called Thick. That's where I met Chad. That's on Amazon. You can rent it on Amazon Prime to watch it. I played an assassin, that was pretty cool. I got to learn some fight choreography. I'm in so many, just independent projects. Besides Thick, the short that I did for Anthony Green and Cheryl Green. Oh, I said Anthony Green and Cheryl Brown, actually since then, they got married. Both of their last names are Green now.

Anzzia: Who is your favorite actor and who is your favorite actress and why?

Cha Cha: I love Robert De Nero.

Anzzia: Love him.

Cha Cha: I think he's awesome. I really, really, really like him. For women, for actresses, I think I'm going to go with... You know who I love?
Phylicia Rashad . Because she is such a graceful presence. She is just such a grateful woman. She really is and she has aged so beautifully and with class. I just really admire everything about her. Just her presence, her auras, the way that she walks, how she talks. How she's so very elegant with everything that she does. I think she's just beautiful to watch on television.

Anzzia: What is your favorite film and why?

Cha Cha: The Matrix, the first one. The first X Men movie. I love Marvel Comics. Terminator was a good movie. Labyrinth, that's a good one.

Anzzia: I love Labyrinth! You know what? I don't hear many black women say they love Labyrinth. Usually, they look at me like I'm crazy when I say, “That's my favorite movie!”

Cha Cha: There's a little part of me that is a sci-fi geek. Because I also love The Golden Child, obviously The Last Dragon.

Anzzia: The Last dragon though, that's a good one.
