Anzzia: How did you get your start in Acting?

Jeanna: I started off pursing commercials and background work.

Anzzia: Where did your love for entertaining stem from?

Jeanna: It stems from loving the world of film and television—imagination and creativity.  As most children probably do, I definitely reenacted scenes from movies and tv shows, but I never saw acting as a possibility for myself, because I was too shy and timid.  Then I grew up and broke out of that shell.

Anzzia: You are currently working on a film, tell us a bit about it.

What’s your role in the film?

Jeanna: I’m currently wrapping season 1 of Onika the Web series by Rock Paper Scissors Productions and season 1 of Body Jumpers Resurrection by 10f Studios.

Anzzia: Tell us a bit about your character.

Jeanna: In Onika, I play the anti-hero Phera who will cut down anyone that gets in her way in search of her father.  Contrastingly in Body Jumpers, I play the hero Nova, a computer hacker by day, who is trying to redeem herself by saving her city.

Anzzia: How has playing this character helped to shape you as an actress?

Jeanna: They’ve both helped me to grow and develop tremendously, challenging me mentally, emotionally, and physically.  Phera, for example, is a borderline villain with her own agenda, but at the same time she has a vulnerable side, so it was a great experience portraying a balance of those emotions.

Anzzia: What does your work aim to say?

Jeanna: That women are stronger than they think.
