The Metal scene has always claimed me, even when I was in Lakeland Pumpkins or, I was trying to do acoustic things. We recorded on a small label locally called Hidden Records, and it was great! Great album! Very happy. Everyone in Japan loved it. /laughs Then after that I had a band called Origami Girls over there and performed solo.

Meka: I released Meka Nism and her Rusty Tears album which I recorded in 2006. Then I promptly moved to Japan in January 2007 for over three years. Like, 3 1/3 years. Which I took the Meka Nism and Her Rusty Tears album to Japan and performed solo as Ms. Meka Nism and that has an award-winning song in there called Break. It was best experiment song of the year Songwriter's Showcase of America's (SSA) and so, that's cool. So, we got it big enough off of that.
