“Returning to the present, with how many
players do you share cloned mares?”
“Fortunately, most of the outstanding players
and breeders in the history of high-performance
polo also trusted me. At times when it was
difficult to make that decision, because clones
had not yet shone on the field—they hadn’t even
been played—and also, it was difficult to clone
in quantities with no defects. Few were willing to
invest in cloning.
Our work was untiring in order to achieve
improvement as to techniques and because of
the many millions invested. But we did it. We
are the most advanced cloning company in the
world. We have achieved almost 150 healthy
clones in a very short time. Those who were

Nachi Heguy; Ruso Heguy; Santi Toccalino;
Cubi Toccalino; Hilario Ulloa; Diego Cavanagh;
Juanma Nero; the Mac Donoughs; Sebastián
Merlos; Agustín Merlos; Andrea Vianini; and
I’m sure I’m forgetting some. And I also bought
parent cells from others such as Levicú; Lode.

“Tell us about your relationship with Adolfo

of the breed.”
“My relationship with Adolfito is one of friendship.

visionary as regards the future of this sport, and
that he puts everything he has into that.
