gnirpS ILLUMiNATiON - A Column of Inspired Word By Carly Gouweloos ...being able to truly forgive is the most important step in the process of healing. Have you ever felt a deep sense of truth and knowing when you come across certain information? Perhaps it echoes through every cell of your body or answers a question that has been lurking in your conscious mind for a very long time, either way it often feels like you are relearning something that you already knew before. And maybe you are! This is exactly how I felt when I came across The Seven Principles of Huna. Huna is the Hawaiian word for secret and the wisdom these principles offer is simple and profound. No matter where you are in your life or what you believe, these magical words resonate grace and brilliance. I am honoured to share them with you: 1. Ike (ee-kay)– We Make Our Own Reality 2. Kala (kulla)– There Are No Limits, Everything Is Possible 3. Makia (mu-kee-a) – Energy Flows Where Attention Goes 4. Mana (ma-na) – All Power Comes From Within 5. Manawa (ma-nah-wa) – Now Is The Moment of Power 6. Aloha (a-low-ha) – To Love Is To Be Happy With Someone 7. Pono (po-no) – Harmony is a Measure of Truth Like our world, all of these principles are interconnected. While inspired to understand more about Hawaiian spirituality, I learned another amazing principle known as Ho’oponopono. It represents the practice of forgiveness. I believe that being able to truly forgive is the most important step in the process of healing whether it be forgiving others, forgiving unfair situations, forgiving illnesses or the most important of all, forgiving yourself. Open yourself to the place of hurt inside you and repeat these lines, feel them deeply and let go: I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. What better time to forgive than now? Enjoy the freedom it brings you. ■ Carly Gouweloos, BBA Editor & Designer of Another View Business & Creative Development www.carlygouweloos.com [email protected] 6 EERF 4102 Pancha Mahabhutas The 5 Great Elements Within eussI dnoceS rehtonA weiV By Cathy Campbell When these elements are balanced in the body, we are in harmony within ourselves... aillirO All the material and spiritual phenomena of the Universe ecapS Similarly, all those dehsilbu are present in the individual.weivretaW ehT yb elements P present in the individual are also contained in the Universe.
