It is because it works to improve and support health and well-being on all levels and prepares the person to go deeper and faster in their healing processes when intervention is needed. As a stand-alone system, the first four techniques Cortices, Switching, Hydration and Body Chemistry make up group one and it is encouraged to do them together and it will onlt take a few minutes.
