The Optimum Wellness team is expanding its reach across
the Country, with the first Ontario location in south Barrie. We are excited to bring our multi-disciplinary approach, client-centred values, and clinical expertise to the
communities of Barrie and the surrounding areas. Our
distinctive approach is based on many years of success in
our 22 Alberta locations. You can be confident that our
team will go far beyond your expectations, and extend
their knowledge and expertise to provide a tailored and
collaborative treatment plan for every client.
Currently there are two practitioners in the clinic: Cristy
Harper, Registered Massage Therapist and Dr. Lisa Karakochuk, Chiropractor.
In 2003, Cristy quickly realized that she had a deep passion for anatomy and kinesiology and graduated at the top
of her class with a 3000 hour diploma in Massage Therapy
from Victoria, BC. After 4 years in practice, Cristy decided to expand her knowledge and expertise in the study
of myo-fascia and is now a board-certified structural integrator in Canada and internationally. Cristy recently
moved to Barrie, and is excited to share her knowledge
and expertise with her new clientele. She would like to
thank you in advance for the opportunity to work with
you, on her quest to conceptualize the human potential,
and the dynamic relationship that exists with gravity.

Since graduation in 2006 from the Canadian Memorial
Chiropractic College, Dr. Lisa has practiced in multidisciplinary clinics in both Brampton and Toronto where
she collaborated with other health professionals in order
to develop individualized care plans for each of her patients. With a recent move to Barrie, Dr. Lisa is excited
to bring her expertise in patient care, rehabilitation, and

Some of the other services offered at Optimum Wellness
include Low Intensity Laser Therapy and Custom Foot
Orthotics.
Laser Therapy is a safe, painless, and effective treatment
approach for a wide range of medical conditions, including, but not limited to inflammatory arthritic conditions,
repetitive strain injuries and soft tissue sport injuries both
chronic and acute.
