2. $65,000 has been given by our CrossNet Churches and Individuals to help the
recovery and rebuild efforts in Houston through the Union Baptist Association and
DR efforts in Florida
3. Our Shower/Laundry Trailer has now been in Houston at University Baptist Church
for 3 weeks and will move to Clear Lake Baptist Church later this week and
continue there until mid-October
4. We hosted a TBMB DR Training night at FBC Cleveland on September 12 and had
over 100 DR new volunteers
5. The Chilhowee Baptist Association has deployed 2 Chainsaw teams to Fruitland
Park to work alongside our Chainsaw teams.
3. We need volunteers (trained and non-trained) to help with the huge clean-up/mudout
operation and chainsaw work. On the ground training will be provided. We might need
a couple of cooks/kitchen crew volunteers for each of the trips above. Showers, lodging,
meals will be provided. We are securing Church vans and a few personal vehicles/trucks
for these trips. Please let us know if you and your Church Van would be available.

6. 5 Yard/Clean-up Projects
5. 8 Community Block Parties Impacting 2,300 People
6. 14 Back Yard Bible Clubs
6. We are entering our third of year of partnership with the Washington DC church planters,
Zack Bekele and Zack Randles.
1. Pastor Zack Bekele (Gilgal Ethiopian Church)
1. Launched September, 2015; now with 25 membership
2. 60 Ethipioans attending Sunday Service or a Discipleship Group weekly; 3 Baptisms
to date with more planned
3. Underground Coptic Movement disciplining 10 Believers
4. 4 discipleship groups meeting in Franconia & Alexandia, VA and Silver Springs,
MD with groundwork for a new church in Silver Springs in progress for 2018
2. Pastor Zack Randles (Waterfront Church)
1. Recently signed a 10-year lease next door to house their Children's Ministry
2. Averaging 230 In Sunday Morning Worship (2017)
3. 180 individuals have attended membership classes and joined the churches
