Education Market Association Debuts!
In an effort to expand our representation
to the industry and bring more value to
the membership, the Board of Directors
recommended to change the name of the
organization from National School Supply
and Equipment Association to Education
Market Association (EDmarket). In March
2014 the membership voted (with a 90
percent approval rate) to approve the new
name and logo.
The name may have changed, but our
dedication to representing the educational
products marketplace remains the same.
Serving a diverse membership base of
dealers, resellers, Internet and specialty
retailers, independent manufacturer
representatives, suppliers, service providers
and consultants, the Education Market
Association is a member-driven organization
comprised of people and companies
focused on the business of education and
striving to make a difference in student
performance. It is the incredible diversity
of the organization’s membership and the
many business professionals that makes
membership such a value.
New EDmarket Website
With our new name in March 2014, came
a new look for the Education Market
Association website. Check out www.
edmarket.org to find all the news on
tradeshows, member services, legislative
updates, and upcoming webinars and
programs.
In addition, www.TeacherStores.com got
a face lift too. This consumer site features
an easy-to-use retail store, online retailers
and cataloguer directory to promote sales
through the dealer channel.
