The newly renovated and expanded hospital entrance admissions area at the Jay and
Betty Van Andel Center was dedicated in 2017. In addition to creating a more inviting
environment for all visitors to the hospital, the redesign provides more privacy and
amenities for incoming patients and their family members.
Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a staff member and, depending on their purpose,
are directed to a public waiting room or to a private assessment room. A special children’s
