An examination of the data in Table 22 reveals that of the one thousand, nine hundred
fifty-eight Decree Nisi orders granted for the 2012-2013 Law Term, 93.6 % or one
thousand, eight hundred and thirty-three (1883) Decree Nisi orders were granted
within one (1) year of filing; 5.6% or one hundred and ten (110) were granted between
one(1) and two (2) years of filing and 0.8% or fifteen (15) were determined after two (2)
years of filing.
This data indicates that the vast majority of matrimonial matters result in Decree Nisi
Orders being granted within the same Law Term in which they were filed.
