The data in Table 13 depict the number of RSC Matters determined for the
Law Term 2007-2008 to 2012-2013 and examines the manner in which
these matters were determined. For the period under review, there were
three hundred and eight (308) RSC Matters determined.
One hundred and thirty matters (130) or 42.2% were determined by a
Notice of Full Satisfaction filed and made up the majority of matters determined for 2012-2013. Ninety matters (90) or 29.2% were determined by
Judgment after Trial. Twenty seven matters (27) or 8.8% were dismissed by
No Activity for two (2) years. Twenty five matters (25) or 8 % were Granted
Leave to Withdraw at Trial Stage. Eighteen matters (18) or 5.8% were Settled
before Trial. Eleven (11) or 3.6% matters were Discontinued by Notice and
Seven matters (7) 2.3% did not reach trial stage. Dismissed at Trial Stage,
Settled Consent at Trial and Default Judgement Satisfied showed no determination for the period.
