Table 6 shows that four hundred and ten (410) Appeal cases were disposed in the
2012-2013 Law Term. Of those cases disposed, two hundred and eleven (211) were filed
in the current Law Term, and represented 51% of the total number of Appeal cases
disposed. Fifty-eight (58) or 14.1% were disposed within one (1) to two (2) years of
filing, twenty-four or 5.9% were determined within two (2) to three (3) years of filing.
One hundred and seventeen (117) or 28.5% were determined after three (3) years of
filing.
A comparison of the major contributors of Appeals shows that Civil and Magisterial
contribute 96.7% or two hundred and four (204) matters disposed of within the same
year of filing which subsequently accounted for 49.7% of all Appeals disposed in the
2012-2013 Law Term.
