Table 3 gives a review of Criminal Appeals disposed and examines the manner of
disposition. During the 2012-2013 Law Term, there was a total of the fifteen (15)
Criminal Appeals disposed, of which four (4) were allowed, six (6) dismissed and five
(5) withdrawn. The total number of Criminal Appeals disposed represented a 28.6%
decrease from the previous Law Term. The average number of Criminal Appeals
disposed over the past six Law Terms was twenty-five (25).
Of significance is the fact that withdrawn dispositions decreased by 54.5% from the
previous law term which accounted for the decrease in Criminal Appeals Manner of
Disposition.
