Figure 7 shows the trends in the number of children and youths accessing Day Care
facility at the Family Court and the number of times each accessed those facilities.
The number of children accessing the Child Care facilities fluctuated over the last two
years. The total number of children accessing the child care facility increased by 6%
from 628 to 668 between the years 2011/12 and 2012/13. The Child Care facilities also
showed an overall increase in return business within the last year (2012-13) with
between 71% and 7% of customers accessing the child care facility when compared to
previous years (2009/10 - 2011/12) where there was a noticeable decline.

Figure 8 data shows the trends in the number of children and youths accessing youth
care facility at the Family Court and the number of times each accessed those
facilities.
The number of youth accessing the Youth Care Facilities fluctuated over the last two
years. The total number accessing the Youth Care Facility increased significantly by
57% from 559 to 711 between the years 2011/12 and 2012/13. In all the years a significant percentage of customers returned to use the Youth Care Facility more than once
– between 03% and 22% of customers in each year from 2009/10 to 2012/13.
