7 th Annual Big Top Idol On Friday , August 19th , fifteen area singers competed on the Big Top stage in our 7th Annual Big Top Idol singing competition . Jacob Sauld of Washburn was our newest Junior Idol winner , and La Pointe ' s Emily Louise Robertson was the 2016 Big Top Idol .
