The Baylor Black Sea Foundation has been recognized
the public utility status by the Romanian Government
The Baylor Black Sea Foundation carries out,
according to its statutory provisions, activities of
public interest within the sphere of competence of
the Ministry of Health.
By adopting the Decision 720/2018, the Romanian
Government acknowledges the fact that Baylor
distinguishes itself through the services the
Foundation provides for the community. The

public utility status, in the meaning given in the
Government Enactment 26/2000, aims at achieving
beneficial goals in areas of interest of the general
public and/or serving the community interest.
The public utility status is a prerequisite for the
Baylor Black Sea Foundation to persevere in carrying
out the programmed actions at a superior level.
