Crofton House School 33 CONTINUING THE SPIRIT OF GIVING AT CHS 21ST ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC On May 25, 2017, 260 parents, alumnae and friends of Crofton House came together for a fun day on and off the golf course, raising over $226,000 in support of the CHS strategic Bursary Program. Todd Ingledew, Golf Committee Chair, was pleased to announce that the total amount raised towards the CHS Golf Committee $1 million pledge to support the bursary program is over the halfway mark. This would not have been possible without the ongoing support and participation of the entire Crofton House School community, the efforts of the Golf Committee and Subcommittees, and the dedication of all the parent volunteers. Thank you Through the generosity and involvement of our community, Crofton House once again saw tremendous support during the 2017 - 2018 school year. An Extraordinary Gift This year saw an extraordinary $3 million donation from Dr. Sherman Jen, founder and CEO of the Maple Leaf Education Systems (MLES), to the CHS Foundation. This incredible donation will support three pillars of the CHS Strategic plan: Beyond Buildings: Extraordinary Possibilities, Pillar 1: Extraordinary Girls, specifically the CHS Bursary Program, Pillar 2: Extraordinary Learning and Pillar 3: Extraordinary Teachers.
