Performing Arts Industry Advisor outreach to Smithers, B.C.
There were continuing levels of high interest for
the Actsafe Motion Picture Safety Awareness
workshop to be held in Victoria, B.C. Anand
Kanna, Actsafe’s Motion Picture Industry
Advisor, has delivered the workshop on the
island twice before; once in September 2016
and in January of 2017. Both were very well
attended as was the workshop held in Victoria
in May. It is expected that the Motion Picture
Safety Awareness workshop will continue to be
delivered on the island three to four times per
year.
MOTION PICTURE OUTREACH
There was also demand for the new Joint Health
& Safety Committee Fundamentals Training
to be held on the island. Actsafe is happy to
deliver any of their courses to other areas in
BC provided there is a venue, demand and
