The Health Literacy program helps Baylor patients
to better understand the medical concepts about
HIV and hepatitis B and C. Furthermore, using videos
playing in the waiting areas, patients are advised by
our doctors or nurses to quit smoking with medical
arguments. In the same videos Baylor team explains
medical terminology and provide details about
treatment, partner testing, or the possibility to have
healthy children.
These explanatory films are played on the screens
at the ground floor and the 1st floor of the Baylor
Center of Excellence and are highly appreciated by
the beneficiaries. One can also view these online at

Interested in Romanian
Patients’ Problems Community Viral Hepatitis Program to a National
Baylor Black Sea Foundation hosted a team of non-governmental organizations, patients, doctors
students from the Bush School of Government & involved in providing healthcare to these patients,
Public Service at Texas A & M University. The group
was led by Mr. Eduardo Aguirre, Ambassador of
the United States (Ret.), Chairman & CEO Atlantic
Partners Group, L.L.C. The six students and their
HCV Prevention, Screening, and Treatment in
Romania”. Within this project, the American team
collected relevant information through interviews,
focus groups, meetings with representatives of
representatives of other institutions, etc. The
research initiated and conducted by the Bush
School of Government and Public Service at Texas
A & M University aimed to evaluate the response to
the problems encountered by patients living with
teacher visited Romania in an international research hepatitis C at various levels : available community
project entitled “Lessons From The Field: From a services, public policies and patients’ point of view.
