European Testing Week, in Communities with Low Access to Medical Services Baylor Black Sea Foundation celebrated, again in 2017, the European Testing Week. The Baylor teams tested the residents of the retirement home from Constanţa, but also the employees of the institution. Approximately 70 people were tested for HIV or hepatitis B and C. In addition, in order to support testing in communities with low access to medical care, Baylor Black Sea Foundation joined the campaign “Together for Rural Health” a project of the Bucharest Society of Medical Students. The campaign was carried out in Şinca Nouă and Hârseni, villages in Braşov county. Over 330 people received free medical primary care. Baylor Romania has contributed to this action with HIV tests. On the occasion of the European Testing Week , Baylor Black Sea Foundation initiated a partnership with Tulcea Penitentiary to test detainees for HIV and hepatitis B and C. 12
