A contemporary commercial campaign was undertaken at Urban 180, the multi award-winning development, based in West Bromwich. The campaign included open days and a dedicated website. All remaining properties have now been sold. Silverfitness Bloxwich Silverfitness Bloxwich, Accord’s unique gym designed for over 50s in mind, took on a rebrand to further increase its numbers in Bloxwich and surrounding areas. Silverfitness Bloxwich features state-of-the-art and specifically designed keep-fit equipment from bike-style trainers to modified walking machines connected to interactive games. June 2016 Exon Court show flat Following on from the success of the Urban 180 marketing model, a show flat was created at Exon Court, Tipton, as part of a positive project to tackle voids and to show potential customers Exon at its best. Housing Minister visits LoCaL Homes Accord welcomed the then Housing and Planning Minister, Gavin Barwell MP, to the LoCaL Homes factory to witness first-hand the benefits of offsite manufacturing. Mr Barwell toured the factory and heard more about how the homes built by Accord are better quality, insulated and can be delivered at a lower cost than traditional house-building, as well as addressing some of the skills shortage risks in the building trade by creating training and employment opportunities for local people. Riverside Co-operative Riverside Co-operative was crowned Inspirational Co-operative of the Year. Chosen for the Marlfield and Church Hill housing developments and also for the range of activities members of the co-operative organise and attend, Riverside fought off tough competition from four other co-operatives to scoop the national award. August 2016 Rebrand for Our House Our customer newsletter, Our House, took on a brand new look from Summer 2016. The newsletter was re-designed, re-formatted and re-launched as a glossy magazine in order to feel punchier and more contemporary for customers.
