A DAY
OF
SERVICE
IT TAKES TEAMWORK!
On June 24 2017, the
Neighborhood Services
Department, the PSL Police
Department and five local
churches joined together to
give back to the City of Port St.
Lucie through a Day of Service.
Together more than 500
volunteers planted trees and
conducted large neighborhood
cleanups throughout the City,
including Sportsman’s Park
CITY OF PORT ST. LUCIE
and the Crosstown ponds
at Bayshore and Cameo
Boulevards. This huge effort
kept trash from littering our
waterways and neighborhoods.
Besides helping the
environment, the volunteers
helped keep the city beautiful
by painting buildings and
washing cars.
