The Team has addressed issues such as land conservation, failing lane miles, affordable housing, growth management and broadband. While committed to continuing to monitor these issues, the Team now has an eye on the growing concern for safe routes to school. They have chosen to conduct a comprehensive gap analysis to identify needs for sidewalk improvements on collector roads within a 2 mile radius of Polk County schools.
