Now , in this era of fracture and divide , we are called upon to do more .

With the help of our members , we will seek out more opportunities to convene leaders from throughout the state to generate new ideas and take action to make Washington ’ s economy stronger and to build vibrant communities .

We are bringing together educators and employers to ensure Washington businesses can find skilled workers for every job — and that every individual has an opportunity to succeed .

Through our growing calendar of events , we are creating connections that provide opportunities for employers to collaborate for the greater good .

We are refining our service offerings to ensure AWB is a place for help and answers to questions on topics ranging from health insurance to labor regulations .

And we are providing access to our network of partners , including business leaders , chamber leaders and elected officials .

Private enterprise is a powerful force . When people are employed , they not only provide for themselves and their families , but those jobs create a positive ripple effect throughout a community . It ’ s no coincidence that vibrant communities have thriving employers .
