MICHAEL DEMPSEY CHASE WASSER

SkillsUSA Involvement
Throughout school Mike competed at the District 11
Championships in Masonry and placed first, second and third
over the years. He competed at the state level twice and placed
second and fourth. He was a recipient of the Elmer Gates
Awards. Mike is still involved with the SkillsUSA Council. He
will volunteer his time when needed to speak with students or
volunteer at various events. SkillsUSA Involvement
Chase was a two-time state competitor in the TeamWorks
competition. Before heading to States, he had to compete and
win at the local and district levels. In his Junior year, Chase was
the plumber on the 4-student team. His senior year he competed
as the carpenter and was the team captain. Both years he and his
team placed 3rd at States.
Employment
Before graduating from MCTI Mike worked part-time for
Northeast Masonry. Upon graduation he was hired full time with
the same company and is still currently employed there. He plans
to become a master in the masonry field and one day own his
own business.
Community Involvement
Chase and his brothers volunteer annually at the 4H Grande Fair
in Newtown.
Employment
Upon graduation Chase was hired by a local construction
company. He is currently the foreman of several multi-million
dollar projects throughout Eastern Pennsylvania. Chase plans to
continue working and making the connections necessary to help
him grow in his career.
