Dear Friends,
Your generosity in 2015 was tremendous. You contributed over $855,000. That means dollars for current projects and for similar ones far into the future.
In 2015, for example, you provided much-needed encouragement to over 40 local cancer patients with the practical support of gas cards to ease the expense of going to frequent treatments. You provided 79 scholarships to graduating high school students and 33 more to college students in their second year or more of study. You helped create ten new funds that qualified for matching dollars from a Lilly Endowment Inc. grant, thus providing an almost 10% increase in what the Foundation can offer this community far into the future.
Your dollars will continue to help make Blackford County a welcoming place to live, work, and raise children in the 21st century and even beyond. We here at the Blackford County Community Foundation are once again honored to serve you and this community.
