During the year it was confirmed that,
for the three years to 2013/2014, the
business was top in the industry for
SIM, Ofwat’s measure of customer
experience. This ranking is especially
important as it acknowledges South
Staffs Water and Cambridge Water
as delivering the best customer
experience out of the 18 companies
in the England and Wales water
industry. Whilst we are delighted
with this achievement, the work
continues on customer service and
we are determined to maintain the
business’ leading position.
Annual Report 2015
The last 12 months has seen the
completion of our new nitrate
treatment works at Fleam Dyke
in Cambridge. This new plant
will provide compliance with the
regulatory standards for nitrate
concentration through to 2035.
