ONE BIG STEP ON A LIFE-CHANGING JOURNEY In June we celebrated the successes of 330 graduates who completed career training programs, learned English, passed the GED exam, and became new citizens. The ceremony took place in front of a packed audience of almost 800 including graduates, their families and friends, and school supporters. Many community leaders were in attendance to offer their congratulations. Highlights included the seventy-seven students who completed Culinary Arts program classes and the one hundred and fifty students who received elementary and middle school certificates formally marking their progress towards their high school diploma, thanks to a partnership with the Mexican Consulate.
