An Ongoing Conversation with Medical
Students
We believe that it makes sense for future doctors to understand the
privilege and obligations inherent in professional self-regulation
before they graduate.
In 2013, we launched an initiative to engage medical students in
conversations about professionalism and ethics.
Our objective is to contribute to faculty and student learning by
providing the CPSO perspective on issues that will be encountered
by practising doctors. Using concrete examples and cases that arise
in daily medical practice, we advise on issues of professionalism
and identify relevant CPSO resources. In this way we are contrib-
