• An Endodontic Symposium was
presented by LMC and AEGD,
Hawaii Region on Thursday,
March 6th, 2014. Three Hawaii local
speakers, Drs. Joe Chu (AEGD KKV
2005), Howard Kang (AEGD KKV
2007), and Farid Shaikh (AEGD
KKV 2009), are all former AEGD
residents of the Hawaii region.
The featured speaker, Dr. Robert
Goldberger, Program Director of
LMC Dental Endodontics, served as
Director and mentor to both Drs.
Chu and Kang in their residencies.
After completing their AEGD and
Endodontic training, Drs. Kang, Chu
and Shaikh, have come full circle by
giving back to volunteer at the KKV
Health Center. They represent just
three of the 35% of LMC Dental’s
former residents who have stayed
on as LMC Dental faculty.
