Unique Accomplishments
Worldwide Visitors Learning from Our Model
As an award-winning model in adult education, throughout the
school year we hosted more than 200 educators, international
dignitaries, politicians, and global businessmen and women from
45 countries to study our school model.
A Glowing Review: ReAccreditation
The Carlos Rosario School earned full reaccreditation by the
Middle States Association. During the 1.5 year long preparation
efforts, a diverse team of students, teachers, support staff,
administrators and board members reviewed the school’s
mission and belief statements, developed a profile of graduates,
evaluated student performance data to inform plans for the
future, and more.
A Partnership Building Dreams in the Culinary Arts
In May the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) presented their
third annual Teaching with the CIA cooking demonstration. This
demonstration brought an auditorium of more than 150 culinary
arts students and community members up-close-and-personal
with industry leaders eager to share their knowledge of the
kitchen inspiring students to dream big about the culinary arts
field.
Building an Alumni Network
This spring the School hosted its first ever Workforce Alumni
Event. Fifty-five Culinary Arts, Nurse Aide, and Computer Support
Specialist graduates gathered to network and hear about industry
trends from leading field experts. The evening was filled with
heart-warming stories of success, camaraderie, and mentorship.
