T he second Mission Specific Goal delves deeper into an aspect of the school’s mission that relates to the concept of productive citizens. This goal connects student learning to industry certification as a pathway to productivity in terms of employment, self-sufficiency and ultimately giving back to family and the larger community. The second Mission Specific Goal uses the ServSafe Certification test as the measure of achievement. Students in the Culinary Arts program take this externally sanctioned standardized test. This school year, 100% (20 of 20) of the Culinary Arts students passed this industry certification test.
