The Supportive Services Department offers its services in four major
languages: English, Spanish, Amharic, and Vietnamese. Through these
services, the Department provides development opportunities to the
student body and serves as a bridge to student success within the larger
DC community.
Chart 1 and Chart 2 on the next page provide information about services
offered during the 2009-2010 academic year, with a “unit of service” being
defined as a 15-minute block of time in which a staff member provides a
service to a student. In total, 17,605 units of service were provided.
