This class ensures that students
eligible to become naturalized
U.S. citizens will be able to
pass the official naturalization
test with confidence. The class
instructs students on U.S. history,
government, the Constitution,
the democratic process, and the
rights and responsibilities of
citizens.
Individual and Small-Group
Tutoring: This program provides
tutoring for students with special
academic needs and supplements
classroom instruction. Based
on the recommendations of
their teachers, students meet
with tutors during class time.
Tutors develop lesson plans
and activities that respond to
students’ individual needs and
goals.
